"Dare to Believe" is more than just a campaign—it's a faith-filled movement inviting you to partner with us as we expand and transform our campus to better serve our congregation and community. This initiative is designed to create a space where everyone can feel welcome, where accessibility is prioritized, and where we can further fulfill the mission God has placed on Mount Gilead Church.


Our Vision

The Dare to Believe Capital Campaign at Mount Gilead Church embodies a faith-driven vision to modernize and enhance our campus, making it more functional and expanding our ability to serve our community effectively.

CONNECTING OUR SPACES

The connector between our two buildings creates a unified, secure campus where ministry can thrive.

IMPROVING ACCESSIBILITY

Becoming ADA-compliant by adding an elevator ensures our facilities are accessible to all. 

EXPANDING SEATING CAPACITY

The balcony addition and replacing the pews with chair seating will increase our seating capacity to approximately 1,100, accommodating our growing congregation.

Facility-wide

Updating and adding bathrooms, upgrading to LED lighting campus-wide, replacing gutters, repairing the parking lot, painting the building, enhancing the electrical system, and improving signage are needed.

Our church is growing, our ministries are expanding, and the need for spaces that accommodate these changes is more important than ever. We are a church on the move, and this is an opportunity to rise to the challenge God has set before us.

Specifically, we plan to build a connector between our two buildings, add a balcony, install an ADA-compliant elevator, and update our bathrooms.     The connector will provide easier access between our Worship Center and Life Center, especially during inclement weather. This will also improve safety and create a more cohesive campus environment, allowing members and guests to move between buildings with greater convenience.

    The addition of a balcony will increase seating capacity in our Worship Center, allowing us to accommodate more people during services, events, and special occasions.     The goal of the "Dare to Believe" campaign is to raise $3,000,000 over the next year.  Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach this goal and bring the vision to life.

  • What is the difference between giving and making a pledge?

    Giving is when you make a donation to the campaign immediately, while making a pledge is a commitment to give a certain amount over a period of time. When you make a pledge, you have the flexibility to fulfill your commitment in installments according to your financial situation and timeline. Both options are valuable and contribute to the success of the campaign in fulfilling our mission. When you make a pledge, be sure to shift your perspective to God’s vision for your contribution and remember you don’t need to know exactly how you’ll fulfill it, but trust that He will guide you and provide for you along the way.

    Yes, all donations to the 'Dare to Believe' capital campaign are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your contribution for tax purposes.

  • How long will the campaign run?

    The campaign will run from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028 with opportunities to give throughout the years.  We will also host various events to update the congregation on our progress and celebrate milestones along the way.

  • How will I know how the campaign is progressing?

    We will provide regular updates during worship services, through the church newsletter, and on our website. You can also follow us on social media for real-time announcements and progress reports.

  • Can I volunteer to help with the campaign?

    Absolutely! We need volunteers to help with fundraising events, communication efforts, and outreach. If you feel called to serve, please contact the church office or sign up through our website to get involved.
